Freedom To Glide: Century of war
Freedom To Glide - Seed

Andy Nixon & Pete Riley lives in Midlands UK and are the musicians in the band Freedom To Glide. All the work of Freedom To Glide has led to the date 11.11.2018, 100 years since the guns fell silent and seeds of peace and hope were tentatively sewn. The following decades tell a different story of course but we celebrate that hope and remember the fallen. Lest we forget… The single Broken Road from the new Freedom To Glide album Seed to be released early 2019.
Freedom To Glide, a band that aren’t afraid to push the boundaries. Their music is compelling, thought provoking and at times deeply moving. The debut album rain is just that. Released in 2013, the first in a trilogy, it evokes emotion in a shared, yet personal journey through a century of war and the consequences that affect us all. Rain received amazing reviews as for instance, «Rain a beautifully composed, progressive concept album exploring the topic of war through thought provoking layers».
«Lyrically, musically and atmospherically this is a masterpiece. A majestic and beautifully piece of work. This is certainly one of the most enjoyable and moving albums I have had the pleasure to listen to». Fall was the second album in f2g’s trilogy and continues there war themed journey exploring the human condition over 100 years of world war and conflict. «An extraordinarily confident and atmospheric meditation». «The Brits again present a perfectly produced, very moving, atmospheric album». «Exhilarating solos and beautiful harmony vocals within the beautifully built compositions. Fall is a beautifully produced album».
Then it remains to see if the Seed is equally well received?!
