Ancestors Index: Melancholic ballads

Always changing genres says Ancestors Index, and that sounds appealing?! Transcend was their first offering and 1 November the band released Ghost. The band is fronted by Nathan Pyles, who has worked with bands such as Gabe Maas and the Bruins and Dreamsphere Memoir. Ancestors Index was founded in 2016 as a creative outlet for Pyles.

Ancestors Index is a band that’s sound is hard to define. The band blends pop, post-rock and art-rock in the form of melancholic ballads instead of your typical, upbeat pop rock. Ancestors Index doesn’t try to stick to certain genres, but writes music that all fits together on an album sonically, regardless of what genre it is considered.
