OrgAAn: Jammy deep-gloomy riffs
OrgAAn – Storkk
OrgAAn used more than a year in making the debut album Storkk, and now they carry their debut baby out into the big world. The band is from Zürich and consists of four young and talented musicians. Storkk was made through years of work and preparation, this album reflects a collection of songs that have gone through countless journeys and experiences, feelings and insights. Influences of countless bands from the last 60 years have done their part and helped to develop a very unique character of this band due to the great diversity and missing definitive musical style. Organ performing Black Cloud their first song of their new album Storkk, live at Dynamo,
OrgAAn dived deep into the abysses of progressive psychedelic inspired rock but with their own way of doing the music. With large inspiration of Frank Zappa, Yes, Steven Wilson, King Crimson, and some others, the music is torn from the long, jammy, deep-gloomy riffs. The music of OrgAAn gradually become more nervous, more acid, more excessive, more varied, more playful, more defined and gradually rather oblique. The outer appearance of the band is naturally also unusual, colorful and offensive. The band does not go on stage with a clear message. They are first and foremost interested about the fun and the endless possibilities in music.
