Mind`s Doors: Varied influences

I’ve always liked the old band Doors with Jim Morrison as the front musician. When I then discover the band Mind`s Doors, they have based on their name a lot to live up to. They manage to play an exciting music without ever being ground breakers. The band released the concept album The Edge Of The World at the end of November. Sweet Dreams are a track taken from that album.

Thirteen years ago the Mind`s Door was founded in Alicante, and The Edge Of The World is their second album. Mind`s Door plays a melodic symphonic prog and some influences are Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Queen, Metallica, Pat Metheny, Marillion, and others.
