Manugen: Soundtrack to Super Mario

Maximum Times was a Halloween release from the new Swedish band Manugen. It took a while to make this recording, but now it is ready and Morgan Ågren is  happy he did this cause it sounds great to him! Sometimes this music sounds like a soundtrack to Super Mario video game type, funny, while other parts sounds more like a plain type of music and are very great! And from a drum-nerd standpoint there is stuff happening on this album that Ågren think you will like, or..at least possible like, no.. yes.. you will like, he think!

Maugen is Thomas Eugen Hellgren who plays bass, keyboards and Lego piano. Manuel Mano Lewys plays guitars, keyboards and flatulence. Morgan Ågren plays drums and percussion.

Maestro himself Morgan Ågren is of many regarded as one of the absolute best drummers in the world.

Has have played with Frank Zappa, Devin Townsend, Fredrik Thordendal og  Meshuggah, Crimson ProjeKCt, Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Squarepusher, Daedelus, Bill Laswell, Tosin Abasi, Steve Vai, Trey Gunn,  Henry Kaiser, Fleshquartet, Karmakanic, Spoonman, Glenn Huges, Dale Bozzio, Mike Keneally, Denny Walley, Kaipa, Dweezil Zappa etc.

A nice music piece, Batterie Deluxe Trailer
