Khors: Reflects the evolutionary development

Kharkov  is the main cultural city in Ukraine, and among the music from Kharkov is the pagan black metal band Khors. The band have released six full-length album, and their first EP Beyond The Bestial was released December 8th last year. Beyond the Bestial reflects the evolutionary development of Khors in many aspects as this is what they have been working on for the past year. beyond The Bestial consists of 3 new songs and a new approach by the band towards old songs from the album Mysticism to honor its 10th anniversary.

In 2004 Khorus left the band Astrofaes  for establish his own band.  Khorus invited Khaoth (ex – Hate Forest, ex- Astrofaes, Tessaract) as drummer. August of 2004 is considered the birthday of new band with the name Khors. In autumn the same year Helg (Runes Of Dianceht) invited to the band as guitarist/vocalist and recording of debut album started in the end of the year in Audio Alchemia Studio.

The recording of debut album entitled The Flame of Eternity’s Decline is over in the beginning of 2005. There were musicians from Nokturnal Mortum and Finist who helped with the record namely Saturious, the keyboardist and Wortherax, lead guitarist accordingly. Suddenly Khors was established as a band with many fans.
