Matter is the band Crossing The Rubicon debut L.P, but is the 3rd release since 2015, not counting singles. Dayton progressive instrumental artist Crossing The Rubicon are all about setting the bars higher and experimenting with different sonic ideas. Their music blurs the lines between a wide ranges of genres, melded in together under the umbrella of exciting progressive music with a broad creative scope.
2018 was a long year for the band with the creative band name. A year full of hard work, tons of times in the studio and reflection on the past and the future. This is just the beginning for the group and they are evolving their sound so much even after their recent release. They are hitting the music hard right out of the gates in 2019 with many more videos.
The group started has evolved from a solo act to a prodigious line-up of talented musicians. The Ohio band blends metal and jazz in an innovative and exciting way, and this four musicians are the music maestros, Deven Jahnke, Dave Woehrle, Alejandro Licano and Josh Durke.
