On Ithenfal’s Wing: Death and metaphysical themes

A Fine Light Snow is a conceptual album in a trilogy mixes metal and hard rock with melodic acoustic passages. Thematically, a look into the mind and soul of mythic entity Ithenfal, before encountering death and experiencing its 7 stages just days to seconds before dying.

The idea for A Fine Light Snow’s concept came about several years ago. The sole musician in the band Ivan when he unfortunately dealt with disease, death and the unforgiving passing of time in several different ways. Years after, this could not be truer at this present time of the album release. Although a conceptual album about death and metaphysical themes, there are a few rays of light inside indicating just how precious time and life truly are.
