Heart Of Isolation was born from the desire of singer and multi-instrumentalist Gérard Fois to propose a music that don’t use the same codes and influences than the ones covered in the other bands he is in,  Eternal Flights or was a part of.  If you like bands like Pink Floyd, Steven Wilson, Led Zeppelin, Alan Parsons, Jeff Buckley. Gérard Fois is known for his work with power prog metal acts Eternal Flight and Dream Child. Fois comments on the single: «Disappear is a dark ballad that goes proggy and atmospheric on the 2nd half of the song». Fois adds: «I often write music with an acoustic guitar and I have a lot of ideas that sound more like a mix of folk, progressive and blues. He admit that he know I’m not at their level but I like to think that the ghosts of Jeff Buckley, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin have met in my brain and came to haunt my hands and vocal chords».
