There is often a dark undertone in the music of Mollo Rilla and that is fascinating. That undertones carries throughout the entire record like a thread. Holding all together like charms on a string, all different shapes and sizes coming together in a nice combination to make it not only cohesive but truly something special. The members are Marco Ciofani (vocals, lead guitar), Simeon Ruple (keyboard, backup vocals), Austin Adams (bass, backup vocals), and Ben Cunningham (drums). These Ohio boys grew up in Geauga County, just east of Cleveland. Their rustic childhood becomes evident in their lyrics whether it’s picking up beers with friends, or driving down a country road. Their debut self-titled album in May of 2019, which was recorded in Akron, OH at Akron Recording Company. The group is currently booking an east coast and mid-west tour for this summer.
