Cult Of Scarecrow - Last Words From Black Birds - An Apocalyptic Tale

One of the many exciting things with music is that it’s so amazing many not so famous and partly unknown bands that makes really good music. Cult Of Scarecrow is one in the mentioned category. Very skilled and experienced musicians. The band is a sextet with background from different bands as Innerface, Explorer, Dead Serious, Die Sinner Die, Trial, Dead Serious, Battering Ram, Ramses, Shogun, Tears Of Colossus. Often with a background from so many different bands if the musicians is inspired, it become exciting and good music that will be the result. Today Cult Of Scarecrow releases their very first video, titled Last Words From Black Birds – An Apocalyptic Tale.
The video was directed by Yana Poppe, eldest daughter of the band’s bassist Gunther Gunny Poppe. The video was filmed in the vicinity of their home base, the region of East-Flanders in Belgium. There’s a leading role in it for Doel, a ghost town close to the immense Port Of Antwerp. The town was abandoned by almost all of its inhabitants in the late 90’s. Also mind the cooling tower of the nearby nuclear plant in the video!
Cult Of Scarecrow reveal their prophecy of doom. The destruction of our planet, the extermination of mankind and the takeoff into the cold blackness of space. Cult Of Scarecrow delivers a music that can be described as epic dark doom metal with pumping riffs and a touch of melody and intense vocals.
