Alwanzatar is, Krizla (Kristoffer Momrak) from Norwegian cult heroes Tusmørke. Alwanzatar musical project creating extraterrestrial world music, with flute, incantations, synthesizers and electronics. So far Alwanzatar have released two records Heliptropiske Reiser in 2017 and Fangarmer I Tid & Rom last year. Now he is back with the third album Helsfyr Terminal Ekspress and the track Heroes,
Helsfyr Terminal Ekspress is a collection of psychedelic, gloomy and dreamy songs for synthesizers and flute. Helsfyr Terminal Ekspress refers to a bus service whose route passed the now derelict rehearsal rooms at Ulven, Oslo, where Krizla recorded the first Alwanzatar tapes seven years ago. Later on, he have been unable to find this service on any schedule. However, the present album are the tracks that he would like to listen to while riding that bus, speeding on its way to the terminal hellfire. The track Gufset Fra Avgrunnen,
Jacob Holm-Lupo states about Helsfyr Terminal Ekspress, «The album explores the more acidic reaches of the classic Teutonic electronic sound, with the added touch of Krizla’s flute and a contemporary production touch. They who thinks the synthesizer is a lifeless, cold instrument are totally wrong! This music boils like a witch’s cauldron». Well said, and I agree with him.
