Winterblind: Experimental metal band

The band Winterblind was originally named Black Alien Invasion, then went on to choose a serious band name in 2006. Then they played progressive black metal/thrash metal but they eventually began to play an experimental progressive metal with djent elements. Winterblind released the full-length album Ya Mascina four years ago. Earlier this year the album Effigy was released. The band is from Aartselaar/Antwerp in Flanders and the line-up is, Fabian Villarroel Benitez – Vocals, Nathaniel Mon Père – Guitars, Jan Kennes – Bass and Felix De Rycker – Drums. In addition Ruben Podevyn contribute as guest vocals on the fascinating track My Public Anatomy.

Effigy is recorded and mixed by the band`s guitarist Nathaniel Mon Père and mastered by Uwe Teichert and artwork is by Jan Willem Van De Maele. The tracks Never Change and Screen Queen,
