After four years since Dogbane’s last album When Karma Comes Calling the North Carolina heavy metal band has finally completed work on their much anticipated third full-length album entitled Idylls Of Woe. The band has been active since 2010 and have continued to stay active in the North Carolina metal scene, releasing two albums of solid doom laced traditional heavy metal. Dogbane stay faithful to the foundations of traditional heavy metal while forging a sound of their own. The new record delivers a very solid doze of heavy metal with some touch of doom metal and NWOBHM. The track The One I Was Warned Of,
Idylls Of Woe is released on both CD and vinyl in a very limited quantity. The line-up Mitchell Allred – Guitars, Kevin D. Davis – Bass, Backing Vocals, Jeff Neal – Vocals, Jerry Cloer – Drums, Percussion, Jeff Rinehart – Guitars, Keyboards, Backing Vocals. The new album is produced by Dogbane and all lyrics and music written and performed by Dogbane. The release is engineered, recorded, and mastered by Kevin D. Davis at Studio 5 in Greensboro, N.C. Graphic design, layout, and photos by Linda Ronsick Illustrations and logo by Wayne Miller and the label behind is Heaven And Hell Records.
