Media Octava - The Abolition Of Skycrapers

The Argentinian band Media Octava was founded seven years ago. After presenting their debut album Anacrónico, which was heard on the stages of the Buenos Aires scene, the band decided to record their second album. In February of 2017 the musicians in Media Octava begins to record the album The Abolition Of The Skyscrapers. This is a conceptual work of 14 songs for which the band decided to establish their own recording studio. In this creative and full of possibilities the band develops an arduous work of audio recording and experimentation by Joe Ablop, Juma, Milton Zini, Alejandro Fenos. The track Follow The Thrash,
Where the idea of making a version of this work in the English and instrumental language also arises. After the first step, they had to edit, mix and produce the audio of this conceptual, long and experimental work, an activity carried out by Alejandro Fenos in the head with Joe Ablop and Juma as constant assistants. Fourteen projects with an average of three hundred tracks for each one, a madness when it comes to ordering and giving a sound that is audible. To finalize this promising work the band got in touch with the renowned and award-winning Mastering Engineer Carlos Laurenz, who along with the band performed the mastering of the three versions of The Abolition Of The Skyscrapers, giving a finishing touch to this work. The track Bicicletas,
