Global Scum is a groove metal solo project from Austria and was launched in 2016 by Manuel Harlander. Global Scum has now released the new album Odius. Once again Global Scum defies all evils of the modern world with their sophomore album. Mastermind Manuel Harlander holds up the mirror to the world and its grievances and doesn’t spare human monsters like Josef Fritzl, who kept his daughter imprisoned in his own cellar for 24 years. Likewise, the brutal and tough groove metal masterpiece Odium is directed against the scourge of corruption. The Austrian musician and vocalist Manuel Harlander gained experience as a guitarist and front man in various projects at an early stage. These finally culminated in the desire to give space to his creativity and the creation of his solo project Global Scum.

Harlander growls like mad, plays all the instruments himself and is also responsible for the recording and mixing. Only at the mastering, he granted Christian Schmid (Suicidal Angels, Mystic Prophecy, FireForce) with his profession al experience from Music Factory Studio access to the production process of Odium.
