Molde: Tribute to Ancestral Past

Molde is a city in Norway that also has one according to Norwegian standard have a good football team called Molde. In addition is Molde is a Irish/Polish black metal band. Composed of 2 members steeped in the metal underground. Originally founded in 2000, Molde has been an on/off band, returning into full activity with the Journey Through the Enchanted Forest (Demo 2016). Molde released in Split CD format with the Polish doom metal band Cursed Coven. After the 2017 release, Molde returns with a new full length album of black metal tunes played the Old School way!

This force of an Irish-Polish alliance features the conjuring compositions of Ollie Ver from the Irish Underground, with the voices from the void of the 90’s Polish Underground performed by Lord Darkstorm. Molde’s new album entitled The Messenger is a tribute to the Ancestral Past in the vein of the early 90’s underground scene. Cover artwork was created by Peter Hitz. Molde have music for fans of late first wave/early second wave black metal and band like Enslaved and Emperor. The vocalist Lord Darkstorm reminds quite a bit of Ihsahn.
