«The purpose of The Mindful is to provide a springboard for personal reflection as well as the opportunity to be fully engaged with the present moment. The words paint the pictures of your emotional landscape, and the interweaving instrumentation calls attention to the root of right now».
«The external world is full of entities that wish to hijack your attention, your desires and your vitality. Small in number are the forces that encourage us to look inward for the answers to our questions about ourselves, life and the universe. As long as we can be convinced we are not complete in and of ourselves, we will always be playing into someone else’s hands». The track Mind`s Made Up,
«The truth is, however, that we hold the keys to our own answers, wisdom, resilience and power. Though there are many avenues to develop one’s own being, music has been one of the most effective catalysts for personal growth for millennia, and it continues to foster emotional and spiritual development in the 21st century (and it’s safe to assume that this pattern will continue unabated). Life is about the lessons you learn and becoming the distilled essence of your pure being. The Mindful attempts to spearhead a movement of self-actualization in its listeners/participants; we are reinforcements for the soul».
«The Mindful is a band that combines psychedelic and progressive colors, memorable songwriting, insightful lyrics, and sophisticated improvisation. Having been raised by a guitarist for a father as well as having a classical singer for a grandmother, I was exposed to a wide variety of music from a young age. I began playing guitar right after hearing Black Sabbath at age eleven, eventually receiving world class training at Boston’s Berklee College of Music in my early twenties. During this time, I learned to play many styles of music and to compose for a myriad of instruments while daydreaming of an ultimate band, one that could include all of the musical elements that inspired me».
