The Fantastic Terrors are a rock band from Athens, Greece. They took the band name in 2012 from the poem The Raven of Edgar Allan Poe. Their first release was on Greek record label Ikaros Records. Their mascot, a one eyed skeleton head with a hat, set as a delta punk ghost called Rob, is inspired by the legends of iconic bluesmen. The track The Yodeler,
The band states on Facebook, «We are The Fantastic Terrors, a rock band from Athens, Greece. Something happened to us when we heard the Misfits covered by Metallica in our teens and we have been playing together ever since. Traveling, studies, work and other projects were keeping us apart for months at a time, but we always got back together for our own special blend of primitive punk, heavy blues, dirty metal and tasty retrofit rock ‘n’ roll. Now, in our thirties, coming reluctantly of age, we are still rocking and working towards our album.
