Chaos Over Cosmos: From Asimov`s universe!

Some bands have such a fascinating history, and the band Chaos Over Cosmos is one of them! It’s an international progressive metal band, an online project of two guys who didn’t yet ever met each other. Two musicians who had never met each other and decided that being countries apart couldn’t stop them from making great music together…. 

Since the release of the debut album The Unknown Voyage in September 2018 and its re-release with 2 new tracks in April 2019, Javier Calderón decided to leave Chaos Over Cosmos. Rafal Bowman asked Australian vocalist, Joshua Ratcliff, to join Chaos Over Cosmos, after hearing Joshua Ratcliff on his bands, Resurgence, debut album Voice. Rafal Bowman loved the lyrical content and Joshua Ratcliff’s aggressive hard rock/metal vocal style on Voices. Bowman thought that Ratcliff vocal and lyrical style would make a perfect mix for the next wave of Chaos Over Cosmos.

Chaos Over Cosmos just released a new self-titled EP. Line up: Josh Ratcliff – vocal, lyrics and songwriting, Rafal Bowman – guitars, synths, programming and songwriting.

Chaos Over Cosmos states, «We define ourselves as a band inspired by bands like Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Seventh Wonder, In Flames and more electronic artist like Vangelis and Depeche Mode.
Because of large distance between Poland and Australia, we did everything online».
Chaos Over Cosmos is an progressive metal online collaborative project originally created by Rafal Bowman and Javier Calderón. Two musicians who had never met each other and decided that being countries apart couldn’t stop them from making music together. The EP new self-titled EP is three tracks long, with two vocal songs and one instrumental inspired by the work of one of biggest si-fi writers, Isaac Asimov. Artwork on the EP is by Josh Rarcliff.
