Massive Destruktion is a thrash metal band from the island of Puerto Rico. The band was founded in 2007 by vocalist Abraham Baez and ex drummer Rob Torres. The band has been playing on the Puerto Rican metal scene for twelve years and it is recognized as one of the bands that inspired the thrash metal movement that exists on the Puerto Rican metal scene today. Mercenaries is the first full-length from this fine and interesting band.

The concept of Mercenaries represents the new image that the band has, where they don’t follow any rules but their own. The tracks talk about politics, war, death and how all this affected our way of life and civilizations. The band’s goal with this album is to be able to represent the metal music scene of Puerto Rico. The track Nations Of Doom,

After four years since the formation the band went on hold due to personal situations. In 2014 the band started playing again but for a short period of time. Two years later the band have a line-up changes with new musicians. They still played thrash metal, but with a more aggressive approach and a new look. To this day the band its still recognized as one of the bands that inspired the newest thrash metal movement that exists in Puerto Rico Today.
