Emity Trap: Piano and heavy prog

Piano and heavy prog metal sound to be a good combination, and Emity Trap delivers that. Maria Kosma is a pianist, bassist and guitarist living in the in Exter in South West UK. Emity Trap became her solo project, when no one else in her band (currently known as Chiasmodon) liked the name Emity Trap. It is an outlet for her, mostly but not limited to, piano creations that extend beyond the heavy metal scope of the band. 

Her piano songs tend to follow a new age style, while songs involving more instruments are on the heavy prog metal side and even though the biggest part is written by her, nothing would have been finished without the help of her bandmates, and a couple of other good friends. Maria Kosma is hardworking and clever but even she could do everything herself.

She had a few piano songs and a concept album idea and even though the biggest part is written by her as mentioned, and after enormous much work the debut album Night was finished.
