Spankraght: The story of mankind battling a dark force

Several worlds coming together and different styles merging into one. Spankraght takes heavy guitars and puts them upon pounding beats. Designed to dance and head bang on, designed to bring people together. The band are gradually building this thing up from the ground. The band is a melting pot for metal, industrial, drum n` bass, electro and trance. Next year Spankraght will release their debut album Thou Shalt Drown In The Blood Of The Children. The album was produced, recorded, mixed by the band at The Rhythm Cage. And was mastered by Yarne Heylen (Carnation) at Project Zero Studio. It features artwork by Bram Bruyneel and contains 7 tracks with many guest vocalists. Spankraght comes straight from Antwerp, Belgium and it`s two musical partners come with only one mission, make sure you have a great time! The band is inspired many artist as for instance Fear Factory, The Prodigy, 2 Unlimited and Cannibal Corpse.

The musicians in Spankraaght states, «The album is a concept album and tells the story of mankind battling a dark force. This force has come down to earth to punish man for years of neglect and disorderly conduct. By eliminating one generation, it hopes to set an example and restore earth’s balance. But mankind will not go down without a fight, not knowing they will only worsen their fate. We had a cool album title and just needed a story, so for those looking for a deeper meaning behind this all, we’re sorry».
