Midnight Tears – Dr. Plague

The band Midnight Tears is located in Budapest and last year two young and talented musicians joined forces. This is a great fit because originally Budapest was two cities on each side of the Danube, Buda and Pest and they also joined forces long ago. Hungarian doom/groove metal band Midnight Tears released their debut EP Dr. Plague. The EP was recorded, mixed and mastered at MRC Studio by ISzabo Marci.
Midnight Tears is Richard Oravecz (guitar) and David Vigh (drums). In the beginning of 2019 Istvan Gyula Toth (vocals) and Mark Domotor (bass) joined the band and the lineup was completed. Oravecz and Vigh have been playing music together for a long time on a hobby and entertainment level, and then it was just … simply, the breeze blew up. The track Russian Roulette,
Why the band plays doom/groove metal Richard Oravecs states humoristic, «My girlfriends said I love you. And I said, I love Zakk Wylde and the Black Label Society. Seriously, the word is that we love this music, and we can identify with the style. It has it all, shivering, power, pain … and the opposite of a world we disagree with»!
About the lyrics Oravec states, «The central theme has always been given, the light that no one will see at the end of the tunnel or the end that we will all live alone, but it never hurts a little blood refresh, another view, after all, no one knows what’s going to come, but regardless of what you have to believe in … Everyone decides what».
