This band from Belgium brings us alternative rock with some hard rock, some gothic, some symphonic, some cold wave, some progressive, some dark rock, etc. A true melting pot! Just like the self-titled debut released in 2017 this album is self-produced, recorded, mixed and mastered at The Compound studio of Jan Ooms.
Desolation is a worthy sequel to the self-titled debut album, and with good and catchy composition heavily inspired by contemporary global issues. A story about a possible evolution of humanity if there is no engaging change in human behavior towards nature and its fellow residents is the main theme of this album. The CD comes in a 6-panel Digi sleeve with a 16-page booklet with all lyrics and info.
The Sad Flowers are a studio band based in Antwerp, Belgium and were founded in 2013, April 1st as result of a previous collaboration. Having very different influences and backgrounds both members sensed room for developing a sound of their own compounding all these elements.
