Ex-Libris - Ulysse

Claude Pinneault – Guitar and vocals, Stéphane Aubin – Piano and synths, Jean-François Demers – Bass and vocals. This three musicians is the band Ex-Libris. The band was founded in the 90s and disbanded, but now they are back with a new album entitled Ulysse brimming with prog. The track Ça Fait Si Longtemps (It Been Such A Long Time),
Ex-Libris is nspired by the epic of the character of the Odyssey of Homer and presents Ulysse as a return home after a long detour from 24 years old. Comfortable, atmospheric and even epic progressive French rock! Often a beautiful travel story rich in musical environments with lost sounds. The track Tu Ne Me Manques Plus (I Miss You More),
Ulysse is a trip back to the ’70s with the use of mellotron, the Hammond B3, the Moog, and the Rickenbacker bass. This album has his place in the movement of the Quebec symphonic prog scene next to a band like Pollen that is inspired by the old English prog bands. The track Boite Noir ( Black Bow)
