Karkara: Mythical tribal fuzz laden music

The band Karkara a fuzzladen psychedelic music that probably would be mesmerizing and thrilling for many psych friends. The band have released their debut album Crystal Gazer. Each track flow seamless into the next, and it is obvious that there are much work behind the music but this is real music that sounds very great. The music mixes, garage and Middle Eastern sounds an even tribal sounds. The goal is transcendence for the band founded in Toulouse in 2017. There are a fair amount of 60s and 70s Maghreb vibes and some minor krautrock elements.

Karkara is a high octane trio that enjoy pushing boundaries and use quirky instruments like didgeridoo. Another choice the band made was to hire Jim Diamond well-known for his corporation with White Stripes. He make a rather hypnotic oriental inspired production. The lyric is mysterious and with and often with an appealing narrative take. Karkara truly delivers unique and distinctive music.
