Nephylim: From where St. Johan Cathedral lives!

s-Hertogenbosch is a city in the Netherlands and the famous St. Johan Cathedral is here and from the organ there probably comes lovely tones. The band Nephylim is from s-Hertogenbosch, but does not offer organ tones, but rather very heavy guitar, bass, drums and vocal. On January 18th 2020 the debut album from Dutch band Nephylim, called Severance Of Serenity will be released. This full length will be released through the band themselves so it’s an Independent Release. The track Fractured Existence,

Nephylim is a new and young band and they deliver a healthy portions of good and melodic death metal. Nephylim combines the aggression of death metal with versatile and atmospheric melodies, while small touches of doom and prog. Nephylim is inspired by bands like Insomnium, Be’lakor and Before The Dawn.

In the winter of 2015 Nephylim was originated with the focus of creating music influenced by Scandinavian melodic death metal. The founder was longtime friends Kevin Van Geffen – guitar and backing vocals. ex  Breaking The Monolith and bassist Rens Van Der Ven.
