Kalmo: With khreestmas doom metal single

Kalmo is a Finnish doom metal band, and most song lyrics are written in their native language. The band get their inspiration from the world around us, the seen and unseen world. Kalmo sees the future being pure darkness. Everything will be sucked into the evil vortex of dark void. The despair is to conquer the humanity. Songs of Kalmo are about that last path us to take and the end that waits.

Kalmo has dragged a traditional Christmas carol through the dark dungeons of hell and mutated it into a Kalmo version. The song titled Hell Awaits Ye Rotten Servants is a khreestmas doom metal single.

Kalmo’s founder comments: «This project was fun to make and, like always, it was a source for learning something new. There was a plan to produce a music video too. Unfortunately, it didn’t go as planned at all. The video is disaster recovery version C. However, the music is the most important thing anyway. Merry Khreestmas to you all doomed ones! ». Kalmo (cadaver in English) is a Finnish one-man doom metal project. Kalmo’s doom metal is distinguished by its simplicity, brutality and harsh sound. The debut EP Demoni was released in May 2019.
