Exlibris: Welcomes the axeman Antti Wirman
Exlibris – Shadowrise

Polish/Finnish heavy metallers Exlibris are wrapping up the production of their new release titled Shadowrise. Following original guitarist Daniel Lechmański’s departure from the band in early 2019, the band’s been joined by one of Finland’s top axemen – Antti Wirman (Warmen, King Company, Children of Bodom). Rule #1 is the opening track on Exlibris’ new album, and the song showcase this very talented guitarist brilliant.
The album was produced and mixed by keyboardist Piotr Sikora and mastered by lead singer Riku Turunen. That tells about musicians who have more expertise than playing very good on their respective instruments.
Wirman states, «Riku Turunen first contacted me in spring of 2019 and asked me to play the guitars for the upcoming Exlibris album. I got the tracks in the summer and I was really amazed about the songs! I worked my ass off with the tracks and I’m very happy with the result. Be sure to check out this album. It’s a killer!».
Exlibris combining the energy of traditional heavy metal, hard rock, melodic hooks and complex arrangements since 2003, Exlibris stands for rockin’ guitars, distinct rhythms, epic orchestrations and powerful lead vocals. Exlibris are known as one of the most hardworking bands in the Polish metal scene. Through extensive touring and festival appearances, Exlibris have also become one of the best live bands around – experienced in all kinds of shows from headlining tours to support acts (for bands such as Def Leppard, WASP, Primal Fear, Steel Panther and Lordi) to festival appearances – including playing the largest open air music event in Europe – the Woodstock Festival Poland – twice (2016 & 2017).
