Downcross – Current Towards End
The Belarusian black metal band Downcross made a very good debut with their first album, Mysteries Of Left Path. A really emotional album and as a bonus both potent music and a powerful production. The music also contains a fair amount of melodic hooks and different moods.
The second album Current Towards End is a upgrade of Downcross sound. More intense ferocity, bigger and thrilling riffs and engaging melodies. Dzmtr has a talent for creating nice melodies for each song, and then adapting them, elaborating upon the musical themes in ways that change the mood within each song without losing the coherence of those themes.
