At First: Information overload and losing touch with reality…..

In the current time of home isolation alternative metal band At First has released their video clip for the song Come Get Your Entertainmen, a track about information overload and losing touch with reality. Come Get Your Entertainment is taken from the debut album Deadline.

Jamie Jochems is the lead-singer At First «Come Get Your Entertainment is about the constant stream of information we process every day and the numbing effect entertainment can have on us. Especially in times like these we think it’s important to limit ourselves to trustworthy resources of information, to not lose touch with reality and to maintain in contact with others, even though it’s at distance».

At First is one of these band that really like to pushes the boundaries of alternative rock and metal and shows broad influences. Influences that vary from Rage Against The Machine to Alter Bridge and Halestorm to Northlane. Those boundaries are often broken with modern, complex compositions where growling riffs are accompanied by alternate grooves. With a variety of sounds and singing styles, At First tells a story that will keep you interested every second.

At First has shared the stage with acts such as Bring Me The Horizon, Textures, The Royal and Dool. Their energetic live performance and no-nonsense mentality has lead At First to win several band contests and play at festivals and venues like AFAS Live, Breda Barst and PAARD The Hague.
