Winter Nights: Encounters of the Frozen North
Winter Nights – Unmarked Graves

No Clean Singing states about the band Winter Nights, «Encounters of the Frozen North’ has a lot of thundering, jolting power along with some killer riffs and a dark, somewhat Eastern-influenced melody that worms its way into your head. The music is capped by jagged, tyrannical vocals that make a powerful impact and by a serpentine solo that underscores the reptilian menace lurking within the song». The track Unmarked Graves from Winter Nights,
Today I felt the rain
Peel back my face
From skin to Veins
Frozen, numb
These maggots now coil
Beneath old soil
So hear me now
Cut bone to limb
Bury me inside this unmarked grave
Please hold your tongue
Piss where I lay
Bury me inside this unmarked grave
Falling down,
This head towards the sky
The poison runs dry
Six feet deep
These shivers now seep
You may not weep
So hear me now
Cut bone to limb
Bury me inside this unmarked grave
Please hold your tongue
Piss where I lay
Bury me inside this unmarked grave
Shadows of the past
Free us of hell no more
What lies to the mire
For the fallen eyes
Please bury me here
Oh in this unmarked grave

«Well, very well. We’ve once again offered something different than our previous work. We are looking to conjure the feeling of dread, and remembrance. We hope they can relate to it in one way or another».
