Horror Dance Squad: Modern, groovy and modern metal…..

A Horror Dance Squad is a groovy aggressive, modern metal band who aren’t afraid to sprinkle in a few poppy melodies alongside their brutal breakdowns. Soon they will release the album No Flag Will Fly Forever with among other the track Better,

Lyrics

You pushed me to the edge

I know I’ve made my last mistake with you

I nearly choked on hope

From all the lies you told

least now i know

I’m better off alone

At least until i’m whole

“If you dance with the devil, then you haven’t got a clue, for you think you’ll change the devil, but the devil changes you.”

Thanks to you I’m finally strong enough to walk away

From all the time I wasted thinking i could change your ways

But now i know i’m better on my own as I embrace

That in the end we all die alone anyway

I should have trusted my instincts the first time

When you just so casually crossed right over the line

Instead I gave in and gave you a second chance to

Take advantage of the trust I had put in you

And yeah this hurts

but i’ve been through pain before

And what doesn’t kill me

Sends me right out that door

“If you dance with the devil, then you haven’t got a clue, for you think you’ll change the devil, but the devil changes you.”

Thanks to you I’m finally strong enough to walk away

From all the time I wasted thinking i could change your ways

But now i know i’m better on my own as I embrace

That in the end we all die alone anyway
