Revengin: With lyrics speak about the love that transcends time, space and creed…..

Brazil is South America’s largest and most populous country, and is known for its fine beaches, samba, and fantastic football players and in addition, Portuguese is spoken in the country as the only country in South America. Less well known is perhaps that Brazil has a very many metal bands, including many very good bands.

The band Revengin, one of the exponents of Brazilian Symphonic Metal, continues in the final preparations for the release of their new album, still untitled and which is scheduled to be released in November.

Revengin was created in September 2008 through a natural selection of the time, of ideals and a willingness to absorb and convey feelings in both the subjects of the lyrics and the musical structure. They mix all styles and stories of each member, thus developing a unique style that does not fit into a musical aspect and also has no such intention. The compositions are made by humans and for humans. Revengin has been showing his work to the public through their 4-track EP entitled Synergy Of The Ashes released in June 2009.

 This first album opened some doors in Rio De Janeiro, São Paulo and Minas Gerais, the main Brazilian Meta  states. In 2012 they released their first full length Cymatics which features 11 tracks that were written and created in a conscious way, but without leaving the atmosphere of chance permeate these compositions . The context was based on the Full Cymatics which is the study of waves is associated with the physical patterns produced through the interaction of sound waves in a medium. It’s as if the sound were able to interfere in the matter and that is precisely what the Revengin’s proposal is, that through their music people can have an internal transformation and reflect on their life’s and practice in social life.

 And it was with this album that they became a reference in Brazilian Symphonic Metal style. After some obstacles faced in late 2011 and with the departure of former bassist (Rafael Silva) in 2012, as a matter of overcoming itself, the band remained reclosed, working hard on his new project, closing partnerships and today the line-up is Bruna Rocha (vocals), Thiago Contrera (guitar and guttural), Hugo Bhering (drums), Pedro Henrique France (bass) and Diego Silva (keyboards). In 2014 the band had their first European tour and the release of Cymatics by the British label Secret Service Records in the digipack and LP version, containing unreleased and exclusive tracks.

O disco que será o sucessor do aclamado, Cymatics, se encontra em produção em estúdio europeu e o start nas divulgações desse novo trabalho, é oficialmente iniciado com a apresentação de um Lyric Vídeo para a música inédita, White Lies.

After promoting the first single White Lies, which had excellent repercussion, the band has just released its newest single, entitled Pale Soul. On the concept of music, vocalist Bruna Rocha comments: «The lyrics speak about the love that transcends time, space and creed. It also has to do with the duality that is addressed in the entire album. It is like the complement and acceptance of the half itself. Which is opposite and opposite to their other half, but when they embrace they see something complete and unique. People fear it and polarize everything, even for example the concept that everything that is good is white and everything that is bad is black, for example».

The lyric video was produced by Rômulo Dias from RDD Artwork, while the new album was mixed and mastered in the Netherlands, at the studio MaXxive Productions by Rene Heimans.
