We at Permafrost can not boast that we have written many articles about band from Argentina, and it was therefore very welcomed when Claudio Delgift asked if we could write about his band!

Buenos Aires is named after the seafarers’ patron saint, Santa María Del Buen Aire, and then it is appropriate for a band from the city to call themselves Light.

That band have released two album, the self-titled debut (2019) and The Miracle Of Life (2020). Snippet of Dreamland track #5 of Light’s 2nd album The Miracle Of Life, featuring Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater/Sons Of Apollo/Joe Bonamassa) on keyboard solos.

Line-up: Claudio Delgift: guitar/vocals, Marian One: keyboards, Leandro Galera: bass and Nicolás Jourdain: drums. The album The Miracle Of Life contains six songs including the 20 minute epic that gives this new work its title! Such long songs make my thoughts wander back to the golden prog era. Claudio Delgift have as far as I can understand produced the The Miracle Of Life, and here are an album previews.
