Mordkaul: With a dark and evil mood, an infernal drive….

Mordkaul states, «Driven by a mutual passion for Swedish melodic death metal we have been working on our debut album over the past few years. With the drums recorded by Adrian Erlandsson (At The Gates, The Haunted…) and mixing done by Dan Swanö (Edge Of Sanity, Bloodbath…), the result is absolutely what we were aiming for». Dress Code: Blood is the album and here are the track The Widow Black,

The lyrics on The Widow Black:

Under the light red like wine

See her glare, with eyes lupine

Fur and claws, a sight divine

A pheromone machine, aimed at the spine

With eyes lupine

Submission, her subtle art

From free will, you must part

Whispering in tongues of yore

Of spells and forgotten lore

She commands, I implore

Crawling, creeping on all fours

Submission, her subtle art

From free will, you must part

Bewitched by the scorpion on my lips

The face that launched a thousand ships

Howl my name and shudder

Even the darkness has its wonders

Off she wanders, the widow black

The widow black

Behold the queen, behold the concubine

The cathedral where lust lies… lies enshrined

Let the night be lit my apocalypse

Bewitched by the scorpion on my lips

The face that launched a thousand ships

Howl my name and shudder

Even the darkness has its wonders

Off she wanders, the widow black

The widow black

The widow black
