Beppe Cunico: Guitars in focus…..

Beppe Cunico is an Italian songwriter based in Vicenza with roots deeply planted in prog rock music. Born as a drummer in a new-wave band called D’as Hirth, grew as sound engineer in his recording studio, the X-land. Now writing his music moved only by passion, love, heart and soul, and a bit of Steven Wilson too.

Passion, Love, Heart & Soul is Cunico`s debut album and he is inspired by many of the old and very good English prog band. In addition it`s obvious that also Italian band as PFM, New Trolls, Le Orme, Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso is his inspiration sources. The music of Cunico is fortunately distinctive and unique and not least the guitars are in focus. Choirs and arrangements are well thought out and as the sound engineer Cunico is, the production is also very good. The keyboards are used with care and are tasteful and well thought out and the drumming is very good.

The album is almost 80 minutes long, and there are plenty of guest musicians who support Cunico with various instruments.
