Reabilitator - Save Me God

The idea to start a band came to drummer Prasolov when he moved to Zaporizhzhia (city in Ukraine) and wanted to play fast thrash metal. There were no old-school metal bands in the city at that time, so he created the band named Reabilitator to rehabilitate the old-school thrash metal scene. The lyrics was about social degradation with attempts to rehabilitate human thoughts.

 The first album was written with the second unchangeable member of the band – Crazymetalliman and two friends from the university on guitars – Troy and Sazar. Global Degeneration was released in 2012 as D.I.Y. CD and there was a lot of live shows after it. In 2015-2016 the label Metal Race made the reissue of Global Degeneration and the release of the second album Social Programming.

 The band played some gigs with new guitarist VK with new program. Later VK moved to another city and Reabilitator played some shows with two guitarists Sere:ga and SF. In this line up the band have recorded the first videoclip Thrash Way Of Life (2018), played some gigs and started to work on a third album Mentally Defected. Now the album is on the record process and Reabilitator decided to release some non-album singles during quarantine. First of them is Save Me God.

Swearing, hypocrisy, lie

Our world is the greatest place to live

We prefer to parasite on it and to destroy

The awful crimes

Permanent degradation of the human world

The innate cruelty

Killing each other

Torturing the animals

Civilization is pathology

Live for profit, money and power

Mitt hovedfokus er musikk som er basert på progressiv tenking. Jeg er på ingen måte ensporet innen musikksmak, i likhet med intensjonen bak prog. Sjangerbegrepet er egentlig temmelig uinteressant annet enn til å gi en pekepinn om hva slags musikk det er snakk om i en anmeldelse. Jeg søker god musikk for å utfordre meg som lytter. God musikk til å trigge mine musikalske smaksløker, og til å sette i gang mine refleksjoner. Da er sjansen stor for at jeg utvikler meg og lærer, noe som bør være drivstoff for et hvert menneske. Fordi det å lære og utvikle seg er noe som tilfører livet en nødvendig porsjon "krydder". Slikt krydderet finner man blant annet i musikk. Ikke overraskende mener jeg at progressiv musikk har den fineste "smaken". På den annen side kan musikk med eller uten progressive elementer være godt nok til hverdags. Til fest derimot holder bare rendyrket prog! Må jo også få med at jeg rimelig kritisk, og jeg mener at det lages mye prog som er i beste fall uinteressant, og faktisk mye som er pinlig dårlig. Heldigvis oppveies dette av ekstremt dyktige aktører som for eksempel: Flower Kings, Mostly Autumn og White Willow, for å nevne noen tilfeldig valgte.
