Like Wendy: Sometimes heard but seldom seen!

Like Wendy is an old Dutch progressive rock band that debuted in 1998 with their album The Storm Inside on the LaBraD’or label. Now 23 years later they are back with a new album entitled Fisher and in addition a new single named Dune. Like Wendy is a project of Bert Heinen and named after the Laiquendi, a people from Tolkien’s The Lord Of The Rings, who were sometimes heard but seldom seen!

Like Wendy is definitely heard on the new album The Fisher their ninth album that starts out with symphonic and melodic neo prog. Some similarities with Iq and Marillion can be heard, but Heinen offers more than enough distinctiveness with his atmospheric music.
