Averted: Paint stories of painful journeys and also of forgiveness……
Averted - Silenced
Today a band named Averted that offers catchy and impactful metalcore, and as a bonus the music is bombastic, proggy and technical.
Averted are satisfied to release the lyric video for The Curse, track taken from their EP Silenced out via Wormholedeath.
Band comment:
«I wrote The Curse out of my own frustration to see the world divided and self-destructing, I wanted to understand the reasons why someone could justify bringing so much chaos where there could be peace. In this song the character is torn between their beliefs and the new realization that there’s no way back from the path of blood they have chosen to take».
«In The Curse, we explore themes of war through a religious context. It is told through the eyes of someone who has lost their inner peace by engaging in a fight that was not theirs- for reasons they struggle to justify». The title track Silence which was the first single from the EP.
Averted paint stories of painful journeys and also of forgiveness. Exploring themes of war, mistakes and retribution, these messages are expressed within six profound and heavy songs featured on their debut EP Silenced produced by Jack Stephens.
