Anders Buaas: Inspired by Major Arcana….

Tarot is a very special project that has been in the works for several years. It was mainly written alongside the production of Anders Buaas album trilogy The Witches Of Finnmark in 2017-2018. Tarot contains 22 brand new pieces of music, each describing a card from the Major Arcana in the Tarot deck. Filled with symbolism and hidden meanings the music takes you on the Fools Journey through life. Tarot is also a collaboration with the amazing artist Verena Waddell, who has made 22 original paintings to accompany Buaas´ songs and the Tarot cards.

Buaas states, «These images have inspired artists, composers and authors for many years, and I have always been fascinated by them. I am not a definite believer in Tarot, nor a fortune teller, but my mind is always open for inspiration. Tarot will be ready for release early 2021».

The first track to be released is The Magician. This card represents Inspiration, and Manifestation through Action, among other meanings.

All music written, performed and produced by Anders Buaas, and Buaas has used this instruments electric and acoustic guitars, bass guitar, mandolin, banjo, drums, percussion, glockenspiel, keyboards and theremin.
