The town of Weymouth in England has a long sandy beach and is one of the most popular British holiday towns. The band Accursed Years is from Weymouth and has an ever-increasing popularity because they make such exciting music. Accursed Years provide a bleak, atmospheric, yet fist pumping melodic style of gothic folk metal. Accursed Years is influenced by a combination of the European folk, black and melodic death metal scenes, and the more somber forms of metal from their native land.

The video also features a improved remix of the track (by Thamnos Records), which will be included on their upcoming debut album. Drunken Revelry is a folk metal singalong drinking song, intended to get you headbanging and dancing, beer in hand.
Accursed Years was originally formed in 2013, Accursed Years provide a bleak, atmospheric, yet fist-pumping, jiggy, sing-along style of metal, which is both melodic and extreme. Fusing elements of various musical genres with a traditional metal sound. Accursed Years takes its name from the two thousand years of the first period of Sauron’s rule over J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth in the latter part of the Second Age.
Accursed Years released their first single Oaken Weave in December 2015, followed by an orchestral EP in mid-2016 called Fall Of Frost. After a brief hiatus, the band has begun to release new music in 2020, starting with Wild Hunt on September 19th, followed by The Witan on the 23rd of October, World Gone Grey on the 20th of November and Drunken Revelry on February 19th, building their way to the impending release of their debut album in 2021.
