Wax Mekanix: With new single…..

Black is the new and third single from Wax Mekanix and from the album Mobocracy

LYRICS:

HALF OF YOU THINK YOU ARE ANGELS

THE OTHER HALF THINK YOU ARE DEVILS

WHICH ONE ARE YOU?

WELCOME TO THE EVENT HORIZON

MONOCHROMATIC OBLIVION

CHTHONIC AND ONYX.  OSIRIS AWAITS

ALL MISANTHROPIC IRISES DILATE

THE IRONY OF HISTORY’S TWIST

NOT EVEN THE RIGHTEOUS RESIST

WHEN TEMPTATION BAITS THE SNARE

MERE MORTALS DON’T HAVE A PRAYER

CHORUS:

BLACK.  THE NEW WHITE

BLACK.  COME SEE IT IN A NEW LIGHT

SHOCK AND AWE.  THE LEAD DOG

BLACK

A TAP IN THE ATTIC?  DARK SIDE OF THE SUN

FRANTIC AND PANIC OVER SUPERSTITION

YOUR MYTH AND YOUR LEGEND HAUNT IN THE HAZE.

YOU CRAVE AND YOU COVET SHADOW THROWING SHADE

WHEN INTOXICATED BY SIN

AN ORDINARY SOUL JUST CAVES IN

THE, ELEVATED BY ELEGANCE,

PIOUS, JUST ACQUIESCE

CHORUS:

BRIDGE:

THE BANISHED VANISH IN THIN AIR

THE THREAT OF SIEGE IS EVERYWHERE

WHEN GODS WEAPONIZE THE PITCH

NOT ONE HOLY MAN WILL BITCH

A COLD-BLOODED ZERO-SUM

I’LL KEEP YOU UNDER THEIR THUMB

CHORUS:

An easy listen to Mobocracy here:

Waxim «Wax» Ulysses Mekanix is an American musician, songwriter, performer, producer, artist, and founding member of American cult rockers Nitro. Not to be confused with the Hollywood band. Wax’s vetted perspective and tested work can best be described as raw, bold, uncompromising, authentic, and disconcerting. Mobocracy is Wax Mekanix’s new release with Philadelphia based record label, Electric Talon Record. Mobocracy is a focused collection of strident, aggressive, snarling, howling songs that draws on Wax`s decades of experience and influences.

Wax states, «I crafted this record to be a strong statement about America’s current state of animosity and decay that features me on lead vocals, guitars, drums, and percussion throughout, as well as an array of talented guest musicians such as Brandon Yeagley and Chris Bishop of Crobot»

«History shows us that artists will not let this kind of tectonic shift in American life pass without comment. I’m just commenting now».
