Lyrics on Diamond Eyes,

Verse 1:

Subverted by their presence

A fortified zone

Into the haunted heart of a star base below

Find a secret passage

In suffering we stay

Death the final chapter

Forgotten on this day

Death the final chapter

In suffering we stay

Below a secret passage

Invasion of our ways

Into the depths of earth

Dwelling in the sands

An ancient cult, forgotten lore

Your galaxy is damned

Pre-Chorus:

Deities and demigods

We try to understand

Slave pits to a netherworld

Now a dead and open land

Chorus:

Floating like a ghost in the sky

We ascend for all time

Come with me, say you will

I know your that your heart will bleed me dry

Like the diamonds in your eyes

Come with me, say you will

Verse 2:

Controlling all we know

Our population folds

Invasion of our moon

The forbidden city roads

Against the cult of god’s

In the lost caverns of space

Lead us on an expedition

Secure the human race

Against the cult of god’s

Our population folds

Invasion of our moon

The forbidden city roads

I’ll find the ancient ones

Just point the way ahead

Drink the blind, forgotten lore

Your galaxy is dead

Pre-Chorus:

Deities and demigods

We try to understand

Slave pits to a netherworld

Now a dead and open land

Chorus:

Floating like a ghost in the sky

We ascend for all time

Come with me, say you will

I know your heart will bleed me dry

Like the diamonds in your eyes

Come with me, say you will
