Mustafa Khetty & Morpheus Project - Mozaick

Mustafa Khetty offers what is described as a tumultuous labyrinth of sound & rhythm and fusion of East and West comprising over 30 instruments and multiple genres.

Mustafa Khetty is a composer and song writer with little musical education. Born in Sri Lanka, educated in Ireland and an Irish citizen, his early years there absorbing the culture, humor, literature, ethos and musical heritage has been a lifelong inspiration. He has lived in the UK, USA, Middle East and Far East, which has contributed to a rich and diverse palette of musical influence.

His influences are Indian classical, Western classical, choral, Mid-Eastern, progressive rock, new age, samba, African, jazz fusion, heavy metal, ethnic and other genres. He started composing music at age 12 and scored the first sketches of a Rock/classical fusion concerto, toccata and fugue and other pieces by age 15. His first career was as a Technical Analyst in a major Wall Street firm and then as an investor and Tech entrepreneur. At the end of 2017, he sold his business interests and returned to his first passion, music

Inspired by the Dylan Thomas poem, Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night,  Nights To Remember is a song about our inner disorientation and torment arising from social, economic, societal, environmental and personal conflicts that inevitably leads to fear, rage, hopelessness and inaction with dire outcomes.

The track Cry For Freedom is a ribute to the Bosnian women and children who suffered the most during the conflict facing incredulous brutality, torment and loss of their loved ones. The song is  the closest to what could be described as a classical piece on the album

Slikt krydderet finner man blant annet i musikk.
