Avocado Moon Experiment: Evoke a future between utopia and dystopia…..

Avocado Moon Experiment started five years ago in Turin with the aim of composing a sci-fi rock opera blending progressive rock and metal. The band offers an exciting concept with many good instrumental passages, nice interaction, creative and good songwriting and good interaction between theatrical male and female vocals. Darrell’s Journal 2116 is a five part concept album and was released some months ago and actually unlike many other rock operas a short album…32 minutes.

Avocado Moon Experiment (AME) is a musical and narrative project. The eccentric and refined sounds, sometimes expressed with decision and violence, others with melancholy hope, evoke a future between utopia and dystopia.

The Avocado Moon Experiment project took a more definite form in 2020 and on the 30th of December of the same year the band digitally self-released the debut album entitled Darrell’s Journal 2116 recorded and mixed by Giuseppe Floridia in his Floryd Sounds Studio, with a line up featuring composer and multi-instrumentalist Giuseppe Floridia as front man.
