Mariusz Duda: . A specific space subdued, muffled, matt, claustrophobic….

Mariusz Duda states, «Hi. Perhaps you’ve heard me in Riverside, maybe you know me from Lunatic Soul. Here, in this place, I’d like to create a completely different music world, connected mainly with electronic music and, occasionally, with… songs 🙂 Welcome!».

Claustrophobic Universe is the second installment of the Lockdown Trilogy, a music series comprising the following releases:

3. Release no 3 (planned for the turn of 2021/2022)

Mariusz Duda releases video for Knock Lock. New solo album Claustrophobic Universe is coming out this Friday. Mariusz Duda (Riverside, Lunatic Soul) announced that he will release his new solo album Claustrophobic Universe through Glassville Music on April 23.

He was premiering his brand new single and music video Knock Lock yesterday.

«In these new uncertain times, I’m still trying to find my inner balance by making what I am best at – new music. But different times call for different music».

«As you probably know, I grew up listening mainly to instrumental electronic music (folk, rock, and metal came later). The new album will be different from Lockdown Spaces released last year. And so you won’t hear my fascination for 8-bit computer games. Rather than that, we’ll run away into space. A specific space. Subdued, muffled, matt, claustrophobic… I recorded all the sounds myself on various kinds of small synthesizers, samplers, and portable drum machines. I hope that you will enjoy this combination of micro and macrocosm There will be 9 tracks, over 42 minutes of music. The artwork was made by Hajo Müller», Mariusz Duda explains.
