The Brazilian band White Canyon & The 5th Dimension offers according to themselves «spatial environment, guided by reverberated guitars, straight drums almost in a loop, crooked melodies and shoe-gaze style voices. Shining melancholy our sound takes you to colorful landscapes, sometimes lucid, sometimes not. Take a walk through the garage of the ’60s, and the post-punk of the ’80s. The band goes through acoustic ballads and the almost obscure frenzy».

Recently this great psychedelic band released their sophomore album Spectral Illusion. In opposition to their debut this is brimming with more dark atmospheres. Some songs showcases a band with more uplifting direction and a spacey and cosmic sound. The music is more refinement and more melodic than before, and the guitars is very, very fascinating and even impressive. Seven different and well-crafted and very good songs is what this Brazilian duo delivers.
