Lutharo: Strive to sculpt an epic sound that sees aspects of power and death colliding…..

Lutharo hails from Hamilton, Canada and this group of motivated musicians is bringing a fresh take on melodic death metal.

Following the success of their 2020 EP Wings Of Agony Lutharö are preparing to release their new full-length album, Hiraeth. The group formed in 2013 and have been growing from strength to strength ever since. The Canadians strive to sculpt an epic sound that sees aspects of power and death colliding, and the new album delivers the next evolution of their sound.

«We are extremely ecstatic to release our new album Hiraeth out into the world! This album is jam packed with a little bit of everything for true metal lovers! We have been working incredibly hard for the last year and have taken experimentation to the next level. Compared to our last release Wings Of Agony, Hiraeth takes a lot more risks and is a huge step in the right direction for us as a band».

Combining artfully crafted melodies, harmonies and precision with a hard-hitting power, they have pushed the dynamics even further.  Songs like To Kill Or To Crave and Hopeless Abandonment reveal the band’s technical abilities and high levels of energy, whilst The Valley Of The Cursed and Lost In A Soul combine Lutharö’s metal composition with ethereal orchestration. Lutharo’s new album launches into an epic exploration of the quintet’s technical, musical and compositional abilities. They expertly balance hauntingly beautiful atmospheres with raw power and aggression. Hiraeth is a exiting new album, an epic journey that needs to be experienced to be believed.
